It's been a few years since I've had a space for families and seniors. But I truly have missed doing these shoots. So while it may not be as all out as it once was, portraits are back.
Washington is now home, but I'm always everywhere all at once (what my grandma thinks I'm sure).
So if you dream of sparkly shores in SoCal, I'm down. If Twilight, foggy, moody, angsty, is more your speed, then let's do it.

Maternity sessions are some of my favorites to shoot. Seeing women transform from maiden to mother, and celebrate another life coming is always, always the best.
Time your bump as best you can to be showing but hopefully you still feel ok! (End of second trimester can be great if the bump size makes you happy).
I'm always happy to help with any planning and location stuff!

Family photos can be really chaotic. So I've found its so much easier and the results are so much more meaningful to take a very documentary approach.
Letting kids play, staying in comfy clothes, having everyone focus more on having some fun vs the camera.
Those are all ways I've had really good success with family photos.
Family
When it comes to graduation photos, I simply adore going all Anne of Green Gables, hopeless romantic. Let's ride your horse through a field, let's explore the coast, and you can show me your favorite reading spot.
Turning these photos into a time capsule of this time and getting artsy with it is truly my favorite approach.

Since I travel all over and I also love my NC people, I've created this as a way to eliminate travel fees and allow people to book something a bit more bite-sized.
Perfect for just updating the family photos, Christmas cards, or you know your toddler will nooot love a 90 min sesh.

For 20min shoots between 40-80
For 1-hour shoots between 100-150.
The biggest thing that affects this range is the number of outfits and location changes. The more of those the less time spent actually shooting, but the more variety you get.
How many photos do I get?

We have a few options.
Do an indoor location. Sometimes this can involve having to book a studio or rent a space. We can always look for public spots as well.
Embrace the weather. Sometimes crazy weather makes for great photos. We can also just rechedule no fee.
What if the weather is bad?

I try to make it as easy as possible to reschedule and get a shoot done.
I don't charge fees to change dates, and I make sure to keep dates open on my calendar for wiggle room.
