Takira and Tajai’s intimate wedding was an absolute dream. And what made it so much sweeter was how much it took to get to this point. Most 2020 brides can relate to having to change most (if not all) of their wedding plans.
Backstory
For Takira and Tajai they changed their plans several times! The original wedding was going to be this large gathering back in March. Weeks before their big day lockdown began. Everything was put on hold. After lockdown had lifted Takira decided she wanted an intimate wedding in order to stay safe. The new idea was to go to the WRAL gardens for the afternoon. This plan seemed like it would work up until the weather had other ideas! So then the wedding was moved indoors in the recreation room of an apartment complex.
The outcome
Even with all the changes and uncertainty Takira and Tajai had an amazing response and day of there was no stress or worries. They were all smiles and the day ended up being so so beautiful!!
All the details came together, the vendors worked together beautifully, and their closest family members got to see them married. Which is all you can ask for on a wedding day!
From the ceremony to the exit, you could feel all the love in the room. Though it was a journey I think it worked out wonderfully.
As a bonus we did a day after session in Wilmington NC for portraits! Those will be coming soon!
Until then, check out this beautiful intimate wedding in Durham NC.
