48 Hours in NYC | New York City| North Carolina Based Wedding Photographer
A month ago my sweet best friend Ashley sent me a text that said “wanna go to NYC?” and I said yes without really asking many questions. After a little planning, we did it! We went to New York for about 48 hours! We stayed in the super cute apartment of one of Ashley’s college friends and had a super fun chill night out with her.
The next day was our long one. We tried to fit everything possible into one day. We got breakest and figured out how to use the subway to get around. It was surprisingly easy! Google maps is very much your friend in New York.
First, we went to DUMBO and got a few awesome skyline pictures. Then we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge! We went to the One World Trade Center and decided to spend $40 to go to the top.
It was actually worth it! Fair warning though if you ever choose to go there, they will try to sell you something every five minutes. After that, we decided to go to Times Square. I’m not gonna lie I was super disappointed in the size of the ball they drop on New Years haha.
After a TON of walking, we met up with a sweet photographer named Madisen and her boyfriend Josh. They were absolutely amazing and let us drag them all over Manhatten.
After all of that, we went to Bloomingdale’s for a bridal registry event. No this isn’t me announcing I’m getting married haha. It was just a fun way to look at expensive things and get free snacks. Overall it was such a fun and amazing experience! I’m ready to go again!
